Thank you for your help in providing a safe area to drop off and pick up students before and after school. On December 18th, I shared some updated information and procedures with you. Part of this information was regarding Red Curb Parking: Cars may not be parked or stopped at the red curb from 8:30-8:55 a.m. or 3:00-3:50 p.m. Parking along the curb prohibits the bus from safely entering the loading and unloading zone. If you are parked or stopped at the curb, you will be asked to move. In addition to this procedure, we wanted to let you know that starting tomorrow our busses may block lanes of traffic within our drop off loop. This is due to an effort to increase the safety of our students who are loading and unloading busses, as well as increasing the safety of students and parents who are utilizing a drop off or pick up within a private vehicle. This means that if you are parked or stopped at the red curb during the restricted times, you will be unable to exit the lot until the busses have completed the unloading and loading the students. Thank you again for your help in keeping our students and families safe!
Reminders from the 12/18 email: Due to safety concerns for our students, families, and drivers, we need to make the following adjustments to our drop-off and pick-up procedures:
Front (East) Drop-Off Area: This area is reserved for buses and kindergarten students only.
Red Curb Parking: Cars may not be parked or stopped at the red curb from 8:30–8:55 a.m. or 3:00–3:50 p.m. Parking along the curb prohibits the bus from safely entering the loading and unloading zone. If you are parked or stopped at the curb, you will be asked to move.
If you would like to walk your kindergarten student to the drop-off area, please park in the school parking lot or at the park, then walk your child to their drop off location.
Grades 1–6: All students in grades 1–6 should be dropped off and picked up at the south parking loop. This setup provides students with a direct and safe route to their classroom drop-off and pick-up lines.

6ᵗʰ grade Mystery Program on Thursday, November 6ᵗʰ at 6:30pm
Students Arrive at 6:15
Our 6th Grade has been hard at work to prepare a Mystery Program. This theme comes from the State and District ELA standards found in our CKLA Language Arts Program. Coach Harry's class has prepared to share a reading of "The Legend of Sleepy Hallow." Ms. Rees's class has written mystery and spooky scripts, four of which are ready to be performed. Finally, Mrs. Lagaun's class will be sharing three stories from the book, Who Pushed Humpty Dumpty? by David Levinthal and adapted for stage by Haley Anderson. We will start and end with a song. We look forward to sharing our program with families and friends on the night of Thursday, November 6th at 6:30 PM. No tickets required.
