Foxboro Elementary

Our 5th grade classes were invited to the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at the new Wetlands Boardwalk located just south of our school. While we were there, the City of North Salt Lake gave small presentations around the area and our students learned about the animals and insects that live in the natural wetlands habitat, storm water and how pollution affects water and land. The City of North Salt Lake also gifted each class, along with our library, copies of a beautiful picture book titled “Witness Trees”. It’s a picture book about how trees are a witness to a community, we plant them young, and they stay for years and witness so much! It is a beautifully written and illustrated story for all readers.
