The Beverley Taylor Sorenson Arts Learning Program is an Arts Integration Program. This state program provides funding for the school to hire an Arts Endorsed Specialist to work with all the students weekly and collaborate with their teachers at Foxboro. This collaboration provides students with Arts Integrated lessons to learn their CORE subjects and create understanding using the Arts.
Foxboro has used district prep time funding as well as school funds to provide a full time Drama specialist, Mr. Lingen. Mr. Lingen comes with 27 years experience in the classroom as well as a State Drama Endorsement. Each year, teachers and students integrate language arts knowledge and drama skills from their CKLA lessons to create programs, plays, puppet shows, and class presentations.
